OAMARU RAM FAIR.

A BIG YARDING. By Telegraph—Press Association. OAMARU, March 31. The North Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Association's annual ram fair was held yesterday, when approximately 530 head were yarded,the hulk of which were Border Leicesters. The various classes were made up as follows: —Border Leicester 480, Romney Marsh 20, Cor-l-iedales 11, English Leicesters -■ 8; Southdowns 5, Shropshires 4, stud rams 3. Many well known breeders were represented. Prices were about on a par with those at last year’s sale. Except for superior lots the sale dragged somewhat towards the end, and a number of unregistered sheep met with’ little demand. The top price of the sale was 36 guineas.
