SUSPENSION OF LEADERS PROPOSED. Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association. By Cable —Press Association —Copyright. (Received March 30, 9.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 30. A meeting of the Seamen’s Union, at which six hundred members were present, carried a motion of no-confi-dence in Walsh, and condemned the activities of Walsh and certain other officials .in seeking tho re-registration of the union under what, was described as a set of infamous rules. The motions were carried in the name of the Seamen’s Union of Australasia. It is stated that a special requisition meeting will be held on Wednesday to consider tho immediate suspension of Walsh. It was also .resolved that members should return to the coastal ships the lest way they could on the old terms, hoping by this means to abolish the volunteers.
