AA’ingatui, s.s., Lyttelton, April 7. NOTES. The Canopus arrived from AVestport yesterday morning, to discharge 1000 tons of coal. She is expected to leave bn the return trip to-day. The Breeze completed loading and sailed yesterday' for Lyttelton, Picton and AVanganui. The Ttirakiua. completed loading wool, frozen meat, and general cargo for Eng'and, and sailed yesterdny evening for Dunedin.
The Argyllshire completed loading operations last night, and was expected to sail early this morning for the United Kingdom, via Dunedin.
The Gale is scheduled to arrive today from Lyttelton to discharge general cargo. She should leave in the evening for Dunedin. She is expected to return to Timaru, via Oamaru, early next week to load for North Island pqrts. ■i The Kaitnna is expected from Oamaru on Wednesday to load general cargo for the AA’cst Coast. The Calm also is expected to arrive from southern ports on’ Wodnt'i.day, to load for Lyttelton, AVcllington and AVanganui. The American barouo Guy C. Goss, which” reached .'uoUsnd mi Tuesday fronT Vancouver, is discharging 600.000 feet of timber at that port. She vessel has also 650,000 fort for discharw at AVcllington and Timaru. and should he an early arrival at this port.
