Seventh Anniversary. CELEBRATED THROUGHOUT ITALY. By Cable —Proas Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received March 28, 11. 15 p.m.) ROME, March 27. Sunday, the seventh erniversnry of Fascism, was celebrated throughout Italy.
It was announced that Signor Mussolini himself would reviow the Rome Federation of Fascists, and issue a message to the nation. The “Observer’s” Romo correspondent, in a singularly frank article, says that Mussolini stands forth to-day as the real master of Italy; bo lias a. pos—tion Held by no other Premier. People are imprisoned for speaking ill of him, and there are drastic laws to protect him from harm. His ambition is not merely to be a party leader and Premier, but to change completely the whole spirit of Italy. To understand tho atmosphere surrounding the “dux” of the Fascism festival one must go buck to the days of Caesar.
