MOTORIST CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER.

By Trlcetrnpli—Press Asscrialion. PALMERSTON N., March 27. An inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death of Maurice. Stewart (18), who was picked up in an unconscious slate on the Rangitikei line on Monday evening, and subsequently succumbed to injuries, was held before Mr Stout, S.M. A verdict was returned that deceased died from injuries sustained through lining knocked oil' his bicycle by a motor cycle ridden h.v Herbert Michael Bailey. Bailey was then charged that he did negligently drive a motor vehicle and thereby cause the death of Maurice Stewart. Accused was remanded till Thursday.
