The faxi proprietors of Timaru met at Hie railway station on Saturday for the purpose of expressing their sincere 1 hanks to the retiring shilionmaster, "dr S Andrews, for his never-failing (sHirtesv and assistance during the years he had been in Timaru. Mr E. Gibson presided, and on behalf of the taxiproprietors presented Mr Andrews witn a silver mounted walking stick and shaving on Hit.
