The Timitru Defence Rifle Club ilnlaficd lint (.'lull cliiimpionship series laid Haiurduy. Willi one allot each to (Ire the points were level. Fodon shot first and got an Inner; Chllloek registered a bull, and won Hie championship by one point, ’rill’ Ardmore Cup was also shot for, 11 being a handicap shoot. Rifleman J. Ibiimlll proved the winner, and will hold liie cup for one year. The same marksman also won the club trophy. The following are the scores:
Club champion scores Chittoek 37G, Foden 375, Jones 3GI. The club got 3rd prize at the recent meeting at -Redcliff in the team shoot. Eight members are going to the Easter meeting at Dunedin.
