General Pangalos lias issued a manifesto authorising a. new election on April 4, by a ballot of all persons on the parliamentary register. No candidate under 45 rents, or over sixty-live will bo eligible. General Pangalos’s scheme under his new “American” constitution, is to extend the powers of the President nu 4 curtail the functions of the Senate and Chamber, and lim/t the Parliamentary session to six months, and probably put forward his own candidature.
