Raoul Perot (Finance sl’inister) addressing the Chamber Finance Committee, estimated that the 1926 Budget would show a deficit of five milliards francs. This would bn met, by revenues already approved, and .fresh taxation, including civic tax, indirect taxation, and duties on production, the estimated proceeds of which would he three milliards francs. Briand s new Ministry ny 301 to 101.
