He and- others were, playing with matches, hammering them on an anvil, when a spark ignited paint in a pot, which one boy threw towards the door. The pot hit Bain, igniting his hair. The flames were extinguished by a co-worker’s coat. j BUS WRECKED BY TRAIN. By Telegraph—-Press Association NELSON. March 21. A level-crossing umasli occurred on I Quarantine Road, Stoke, early on Saturday evening. A motor bus driven by E. C. Russell was struck on tile liar wheels by a heavily-loaded train n-turning Irani the motor-cycle sports, and hurled down a bank. Tho bus was completely wrecked. The driver, the only occupant, was thrown some distance away, and was badly cut about the head, ■ but his injuries are not considered serious. SUDDEN DEATH. By Telesrnph—Press Association.
