TIDE WATER OIL COMPANY. GREAT OIL MERGER. "W. H. Simms and Sons, Ltd. have received cable advice that the Tido Water Oil Company have taken over the Associated Oil Companies of California stock, and the president of the Tide Water Oil company will ho the president of the new concern, the Tido Water Associated Oil Company. This concern will now be one of the chief factors in the bulk oil business in New Zealand, and will ensure the competition of a great, independent concern. Tho Tido Water Company have made all arrangements for the supply of petrol in bulk for tho future from the West Coast, as well as their famous Xydol Motor Spirit from the East Coast of America. Messrs W. H. Simms and Sons, Ltd., have been appointed the permanent agents for the Tide Water Associated Oil Companies.
