A Government communique states that tho civil Governor of Barcelona ordered the arrest and imprisonment of tho Council of the Barcelona bar, recently dissolved by the Government. Tho Council declined to withdraw its manifesto urging no recognition of its successors’ orders.

The communique defends tho Governor’s action, and adds that the Government will crush all attempts at revolt.
