Having purchased the stock in the estate of Mr Walter Slherran, jeweller, Fauffie, Mr Lyall Dewar, for the past fourteen years manufacturing, jeweller to the trade in Timaru, announces to the residents of Fairlie that he commenced business on Monday, May 18, as manufacturing jeweller, watchmaker, .and engraver, in premises lately occupied by Mr Sheeran. The Wellington Competitions Society will bo held at the Town Hall from August 22nd to September 12. The prizes offered are tlio largest in New Zealand, including eight scholarships.
