Two Norwegians named Kruse and Skald, iffembehs of the crew of a ship lying at Geelong, were rowing aboard when the boat capsized. Bbtli were drowned.

The bodies were found locked together, indicating that Kruse perished trying to save his mate, who was unable to swim.
