Advices from Fez state that General Freyhenberg’s forces relieved the Boutoment post, after severe fighting. Enemy propaganda is intensifying on the Branes-Ghennaes fronts, where the tribesmen are reported to be heavily reinforced.

Tho Riffs for a fortnight have been besieging a blockhouse at Eiband, ciefemieu by H 7 Senegalese tiilder French iioh-coinmissioned officers.
Artillery is now shelling the besiegers, preparatory to an attempt to relieve the garrison.
