A verdict of accidental , death was returned at the inquest on the alleged motor bandits (connected with the Stroud affair) against three of whom other charges have been preferred.
An eye witness of t*)Q tragedy said he eaw a car travelling at about 60 miles per hour. A tyre burst, the car mounted a pavement, and crashed into a fence and turned oyer. Witness found two men, one already dead. The other three made off. Accused were committed for trial.
