FATAL SMASH.

TRAIN COLLIDEB WITH MOTOR TRAILER. By Cable —Preta Association—Copyright, Australian mid N.Z. Cable Association BERLIN, May 12. The Basle express dashed into the trailer of a char-a-banc _at a level crossing at Rotlimalseli, killing eleven persons and injuring five. The victims were male choristers going home after winning a prize in the local competition. The accident was due to the signalman omitting to close the gates.
