George Jeffrey was charged at the Juvenile Court with the murder of Joan Annets. The prosecution showed that the girl’s skull was fractured. There were fourteen wounds in the head and neck, which might have been caused by a penknife. The police gave evidence that the boy voluntarily made the statement that he committed the crime.
