Lowry, Okawa, who has received semiofficial advice of his selection as a member of tho New Zealand Davis Cun team, to-day sustained Serious injuries to his right thumb in a circular saw It is possible that the thumb may have to be amputated, in which- case. Lowry’s value as ,a member of the team will be gone.
