The “Financial Times’’ says that the flotation of the New Zealand loan will help British industry and open up markets for the disposal of British manufactures. Other newspapers are giving prominence to the new loan. The “Daily Express” says it is possible a portion of the loan may have to be remitted to New Zealand in gold; therefore, for the moment, we do not Want to encourage colonial borrowing, even though a considerable amount will be spent in Britain.
