IN THE CHURCHES.

Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, to-morrow, at S a.m., at St. John’s at S a.m., and at St. Peter's at 9.30 a.m. A children’s Eucharist will be held at St. Michael’s at 9.30 a.m. The services in Chalmers Church will be conducted by the Rev. P. Gladstone Hughes. The subjects of the addresses will be “William Tyndale” and “The Authority of the liibie.” The evening service will be musical. This afternoon a garden party will be held at Mrs Grant’s residence, Wai-iti Road. The Rev. T. Stinson will conduct both services in Trinity Presbyterian Church to-morrow. At the Congregational Church, North Street, to-morrow, the Rev. T. Wilson Pelts will conduce services at 11 a.m. and 0.30 p.m. The services at tho Baptist Church to-morrow will be conducted by the Rev. 11. G. Goring. Tho subjects are: “The Missionary Challenge’’ arm “Transmission.” All arc welcome. At the Methodist churches tomorrow, morning services will bo conducted by Air Watson at Bank Street, Air Chiles at Woudlands Street, Air Irwin at Kensington, and Rev. A. C. Lawry at the W'aimntaita-i Harvest Festival. In the evening, Rev. A. C. Lawry will preach at Bank Street, Rev. H. J. Odell at Woodlands Street, Air A. Stead at Kensington, and Rev. J. C. Gill at the Waimataitai Harvest Festival.
