He was got by that well known horse Campsie, the property of Mr Kiddeil, which gained the first premium of £40 in the Glasgow Market, of the (Jaldetwaterhead Society in 1862; also the first premium of £40 in Kinross in 1863 ; also the Highland Society's first premium of £30, and medal at Kelso in 1863 ; also the first premium of £40 at Perth in 1861; also the premium of £30 from the Calderwaterhead Society in 1865, Prince Arthur, when a two year old, gaiaed the second premium for the County of Dunbarton in 1865; also aecoud at the Johnstone Open Show; also second at the Highland Society's Show, held at Inverness in 1865. He was then shipped to New Zealand, and k Sire of some of the best stock in Auckland.
