THE City Council of Auckland are prepared a to receive tenders for the whole of the Plant and Works connected and requisite for a Water Supply for the City, comprising about— : Three aiail one quarter miles of Supply. Mains, and fourteen and three quarter miles of Pipes for City Reticulation Woiks, Sluice Valves, Hydrants, two High-pressure Compound..beam Engines, with Double'acting Pumps, four Boilers, Covered Reservoirs, Engineer and' Keeper's Houses, together with all necessary Works connected therewith. Drawings may be inspected, tracings aud specifications, forms of tender, and general conditions obtained on and after Pkiday, the 23rd day of October, 1874, by paymeut of three guineas, on application at the City Council Chambers, Queen-street, or at the Town Clerk's offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Duaediu, Welling- • ton, and Christchurch.
