APPLICATION has been made by William Sims for a LICSNSU to Con- ," struct a Water Race, for Miningpurposes, coii-n-encing at a point on Boundary Creek, about eighty yards from Tararu Koad, and terminating at the Imperial Crown Battery, as shown on plan lodged with said Application. The length of such Baca is one mile, or r\ thereabouts, and its intended course is along ' the Tararu Road, the water to be conveyed in three inch pipes; and it is capable of carrying One sluice-head of water. The number of, sluice-heads of forty inches each which it is proposed to appropriate is One. NOTICE is therefore given, that on the 6th day of October, 1874, a License will be granted to the said William Sims for the abovedescribed Water Race, unless valid objection be. in the meantime made in writing aud lodged at this office not less than seven clear days before that date.
