APPLICATION Ins been made by William Sims for a LICUNSE to Construct a Water Race, for Mining purposes, commencing at a point ou Boundary Creek, about eighty yards from Tararu Road, and terminating at the Imperial Crown Battery, as shown on plan lodged with said Application, The length of such Race is one mile, or thereabouts, and its intended course is along the Tararu Road, the water to be conveyed in three inch pipes; aud it is cipablo of carrying One sluice-head of water. The number of sluice-heads of forty inches each which it is proposed to appropriate is One, NOTICE is therefore given, that on the 6th day of October, 1874, a Liceuse will be granted to the said Wimiam Sims for the abovedescribed Water Race, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing and lodged at this office not less than seven clear days before that date, W.
