(Before W. Fbaser, Esq., 8.M.) Dbunkenness. - Ellen Duncan was charged with having been drunk and incapable in Pollon-street, Shortland, on the 7th inat.—She pleaded guilty. She had a glass ,or two of beer which upset her.— Constable Madill proved the charge, She was very drunk and helpless.—She was fiaed 10s or 24 hours' imprisonment. —Same defendant was charged with a breach of the Vagrant Act, having been j three times convicted of .drunkenness | within the past 12 months.—She admitted j the convictions.—Mr Bullen said that her husband was anxious that she should be imprisoned in order to see if that would do her any good. -She was ordered to be imprisoned for 3 months. -GeorgeMcintosh was charged with being drunk and ' incapable in Brown-street, Grahamstdwn, on the 7th inst.—He was fined 10a or 24 houra' imprisonment. ,
