The box was picked up at Pipitea. The papers were safe, but the money was all gone, ?ko tbief is undiscovered. CHBisTCHuncir, Friday, 1 p.m. The New Zealand Shipping Company received telegraphic advices from-London of the arrival of the following ships:— The' Duke of Edinburgh' aud the 'Star of India/ from Ly ttolton; and tho ' Dunfillan,' from Otago. -Also of the departure from London of the'' Carisbrook Castle,' ' Columbus,' ' Strathnaver,' 'Loch Barn/ and ' Tweed.'—The vessels being loaded by the company at the end of Jane were :—The 'Eurynome/ for Canterbury ; ' Cartvale/ for Wellington; < Lennox Castle,' for Otago/ and * Stanley < Castle/ for Auckland.—Tho local committeo of tho Colonial Bank of - flew.
