POLICE COUIIT.-IESTEBDAY. (Before W. Fraser, Esq., R.JT.) Laeceny. — James Robertson was charged that he did feloniously steal, take, and carry away from the claim of the South Devon G-.M.U., two pieces of timber, value 2s, the property of John Noble and others.—Mr Dodd, for the defendant, pleaded not guilty. — Mr Bullen asked for an adjournment until to-morrow. He had no objection to the defendant having bail in his own recognizances.—The case was adjourned, bail being allowed in defendant's recognzances of £10.
