THE CEMETERY.
To the Editor ol tbe Thabes ADTBaiISEB, Sib,—Your correspondent "&. 0. 0." is evidently very zealous upon the Cemetery question, but is not fully acquainted with the subject. He .asks • whether the local Boards intend doing anything to the road or not P Permit me' to say that theonly local Board that can legitimately expend funds upon tiio Cemetery iioad is the Parawai Board, and they do not intend doing anything more than fill up a few of the ruts, orders for which were given some daysprevious.to the appearance of your correspondent's, remarks. I may_ also inform him that the Board have no intention of making any new road,'or any diversion of, the present road. If "ID, 0." will, refer to,the resolutions of the Board published in the ' Evening Star of 30th March last, ho will see that they have suggested to the Provincial Government a very practicable ( solution of all difficulties oonnected with < this matter, and they, as well as overy inhabitant of this goldfield,.will hayo reason to be grateful to himif he will V expend' a little of his' -surplus energy in . agitating that, their views be immediately , carried out,—l am, &c, ( t , , : A Member of m& Parawai Board. ; > v .
