The Ways and Moans Committee of tho Lower House reported on tho Farmers’ Free List Bill, recommending far-reaching reductions in tho tariffs on commodities farmers require. The Canadian agreement is hailed as beneficial to agricultural interests. In the House the debate on reciprocity was further adjourned. The representatives agreed in tho declaration that the reciprocity proposals wore tho most momentous issue that had boon before tho country since tho Spanish-American war.
