A RIDING FATALITY.

' DUNEDIN, Jan. 31. A man named Walter Lawson, a bachelor, aged- about 60 years, died today as the result of injuries sustained yesterday. Deceased.was employed by 'Mr. Scott, a farmer* at North Taieri, and after finishing work in a turnip field he got on -a horse to Tide home. The horse took' fright and ran away. Lawson was unseated, and apparently became 'entangled in the chains, being dragged about a mile. The cause oi death was concussion of the bram. Deceased had no • relatives m the Dominion. 1
