, Lord Dalmeny has announced that he will not. contest the Midlothian seat at the next election, foreseeing' that he is unable to support the Government in everything. He is disappointed with the course of events, and says that the party is forcing the pace by introduce ing with increasing vehemence legislation which he is unable to support.
