At the T uka pa ground High School >Acre beaten fry I'mted Service B. by an innings and six runs. High School wont in rirst, Sumner and Grey opennig to the bowling of Southall anu Preshaw. Tressider and Southall then became associated, and 25 runs ,were added before the seventh wicket fell. Southall was rather lucky, about three chances from him being declined before Grey caught him out. The innings closed' for 81. Following on, High School made only 43.
