Takapuna Jockey Club Handicap — Advocate 1, Bully 2, Paritutu 3. Also ran: Lochbuhie, vranuim, Sedition, and First Gun. Won by three-quarters of a length. Time, 2min 11 1-osec. Second Pony Handicap — Mahinga 1, Paul Beaver 2, Eleonore 3. Also started : Mighty Atom, Carmania, Norma, Moika, and Peggy Pride. Won by three lengths. Time, 51 l-ssec.
