Sellers : Caledonian, L 32 ; Thames, L 6 5s ; Bright Smile, 42s Od ; Bird in Hand, 5s 6d : Unicorn, 4s. AUCKLAND SIiAREMARKET. Thursday. Mr J. M. Lennox reports : —The sharemarket is rather quiet, in consequence of the Thames Exhibition. Caledonian shares have still an upward tendency. My sales comprise : Caledonian, L3O 10s, L3l, L 32 10s ; Thames, L 5 17s ; Alburnia, 55s ; Moanataiari, L 6 2s Oil. Closing buyers : Caledonian, L 32 10s ; Thames, L 5 15s ; Aiburuia, 55s ; Albion, L 6 2s 6d. Sellers : Caledonian, L 33 ; Thames, L 5 17s (id ; Alburnia, 60s ; Golden Calf, 47s Od ; Tokatca, 57s Od. Messrs Hague Smith audWalker’s report:— The sharemarket has been tolerably active to-day, with a slight demand for Caledonia* at high prices. Our sales have been—Caledonian, L3l, L3l 10s, L 33, and L 32 10s ; Working Miners, 5s 6d : Royal Standard, 7s Od, 7s.
