Per the New Zealand Press,,Association. o * THE GREEN HARP MEETING LAPSED AGAIN. DISTRICT COURT.—MOST IMPORTANT DECISION. AUCKLAND. Monday. The Green Harp meeting has again lapsed for want of a quorum. In the District Court to-day Judge Beckham gave judgment up»n Mr Bncholz’s objection to his name being placed on the second schedule of contributors to the Golden Crown Extended Gold Mining Company. Judge Beckham supported the objection, and said that it would be wrong that a shareholder whose name had been omitted from the first schedule should be subsequently held liable. The Golden Gate schedule was partly heard, and again adjourned. 8 p.m. The s.s. Alexandra has sailed for Sydney to-day. There is no sign of the Nevada. LATER NEWS FROM FIJI.—MORE NATIVE TROUBLES EXPECTED. The latest Fiji news reports that a bill for a loan of £50,000 has been passed by the Legislature, to be floated in Sydney. Lieutenant Woods sails for Sydney at once for the purpose of floating the loan. A Government steamer, with a native force under Brigadier General Fitz Gerald, has been despatched to subdue a rebellion of the Bau natives. It is believed that the expedition will be ineffectual, as the native troops are thoroughly cowardly. Tuicahau, a leading chief of Javlana, threatens to become troublesome. He has ordered the natives to burn the buildings on Thurston’s plantation, and then told them to leave Thurston’s employment at once.
