Tor the New Zealand Press Association. 0 MEETING OP SHAREBROKERS. DR NICHOLSON ABOUT TO RESIGN. AUCKLAND. Saturday. A meeting of sharebrokers was held to-day, to consider the Stamp and Brokers Acts. After some discussion, a committee of seven was appointed to obtain legal advice upon the matter, and to draw up a report, to be submitted to a meeting to be held on Saturday next. It is reported that Dr Nicholson will resign the office of Public Vaccinator on account of the indignation of the fraternilv regarding his report to the Government. Dr Philson intends to send in a report.
