POLICE COURT.— Yesterday. [Before VT VRABER. Esq., B.M.] DRUNKENNESS. Joseph Couglilau and Tantari (a Maori) wore charged with being drunk the previous day. I'lie former, who was on bail, did not appear, and tin* amount of his bail was ordered to be forfeited. The latter was fined 10s and costs. MUSIC AND DANCING. An application by Mrs Ziegler for permission to have music and dancing in her licensed house, the Lisburn Hotel, Shellback Creek, on the evening of the 16th instant was granted on the usual conditions.
