to the Editor of the Thames Guardian. Sir. —l also should like to ask Mr Bandmaster Morris, through the columns of your paper, why the band wanted to play on the stage—a place not suited for such “ performers.” At no theatre is such a tiling allowed, therefore, without a proper reply' is made to the unseemly exhibition they' made of themselves at the late concert, at Shortland, they will deserve the censure of all citizens, who will also allow that Mr Perrier is “ at last right for once.” Trusting they will be able to explain the above affair.—l am, &c., Another Volunteer. Grahamstown, 13th August, 1872. +— _
