THE TARARU HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

Tiie following are the boundaries as published in tlie Provincial Government Gazentc : . Bounded towards the north-east by a right line from the north-eastern angle of the Flora McDonald battery site to the source of the Opitotnoko creek ; towards the south-east by the centre of the Opitomo’ko creek aforesaid, from its source to high-water mark of the Hauraki Gulf; towards the south-west by high-water mark of the sea in the Hauraki gulf aforesaid to the mouth of the Tararu creek; aud towards the north-west by the centre of the Tararu creek aforesaid, being the production of the northern boundary of the Flora McDonald battery site aforesaid, thence by the said line and by the said northern boundary to the north-eastern-angle of the battery site before named—the point of commencement. The first meeting of ratepayers is appointed to take place at the Imperial Crown Hotel, Tararu, on Tuesday 30th, and Mr Robert Graham has been appointed Chairman of such meeting.
