EXPERIMENTAL CRUSHING AND MINERAL ASSAYING. OWING to the intended discontinuance bv the Mint for trial crushings of quartz 'and other minerals, and also of mineral assaying, the undersigned have commenced the erection, at their Branch Establishment, New, Fitt-street, of a fall and complete plant, combining all the latest improvements for the crushing, extraction, and treacment of every description of minerals, the whole of which will be under the superintendence of Professor Watt, Government Analyst. The arrangements will be completed so as to commence work on the Ist of July next, the date of discontinuance by the Mint.
