Semi, Auckland, passengers ; Wahapn, cutter, 16, Hutley. Auckland nallast; Mary Ann, cutter, 21, Egletou, Waikawau, ballast. ARRIVAL OF THE STAR OF THE SOUTH. The cattle steamer Star of the South, Captain Holmes, arrived yesterday at Tararu, with a cargo consisting of 60 head of cattle, aud 350 sheep, for Messrs Banks aud Me Hardy, which were landed in excellent condition. She left Napier on Saturday evening, and experienced strong head winds from Hick’s Bay to Cape Colville, and strong S.W. winds down the Frith of the Thames. There were only two passengers. There is no news of importance from the files brought by her.
