POLICE COURT.— Yesterday. Before Jackson Kkddki.i,, E-q., R.M. Drunkenness. John Gladhill, James Stair, Mitry Bayliss,alias Mary Clarke, and William McMahon, were dealt with in the usual manner for being drunk. Stealing from a Dwelling House.— John William Shaudly, a boy, 12 years old, was brought up on remand, charged with stealing £lO irom the dwelling house of John Kenyon. The accused was further remanded until next morning, owing to the pressure of business in the It.M. Court. Stray Horse. —Alfred Preece, charged with permitting two horses to stray in Brown-street, on the 2Gth April last. Pleaded guilty and was lined 2s Gd and costs. Transeer of Licence.—An application for transfer of the licence for the Union Hotel, Owen-s reet, from G. 11. Tudhope to Alfred Barchard, was adjourned until next morning.
