A Golden Opportunity.—A young English traveller contracted a love affair with a pretty Gipsy girl. The mother wished that he should many her at ouce ; but, the Englishman declared that lie was not rich enough to keep a wife. ‘What!’ saicl the gipsy, laughing. ‘ not rich enough in the land of guineas ? With so renowned a thief as my daughter, you will bo iu a year millionaire.’
