THE SMILING BEAUTY G.M. CO., REGISTERED.
To the E'.litor of tlio THAMES GUARDIAN. Sir, —1 am a shareholder in the Smiling Beauty Gold Mining Company, Registered, and have paid four calls, amounting to 3s 6d per scrip—and for wind;? to sink a shaft about 45 feet deep. Is it, not time that something should be done towards striking the same lead as the Bright Smile Gold Mining Company are working on with such good returns. I want to know if the directors are going to let the winter pass away as they have let the summer go by—doing nothing. Is it by not having' energetic directors that so many claims fall under the hammer, and are knocked down to those who profit by the above state of affairs.—l am, &c., A Citizen. Shortland, May 15, 1872.
