THURSDAY, MAY 16, At 11 o’clock prompt. HIRST-CLASS HOTEL, FURNITURE STOCK-IN-TRADE, &c., FOR ABSOLUTE SALE, (The Proprietor leaving for England.) MESSRS. GUDGEON & CO. Have been favoured with instructions from Mr Hagiu, who is leaving the colony, to sell, without reserve, on Thursday next, 16th instant, at 11 o’clock prompt (if not previously disposed of by private contract), THAT Large and substantially - built HOTEL, situate in the best part of Shortland, and known as the N3W CALEDONIAN, together with the Furniture aud Effects, Plate, Linen, Ac., Stock-in-Trade, Poultry, Ac., Ac., Which will be offered to public competition immediately after the sale of the property. N.B. —This Hotel, doing a good business, contains 14 rooms, all lined and papered, out-offices, Ac. ; is pleasantly situated on a section 66 by 165, having an unexpired lease of 18 years, at the nominal rental of 45s per annum. The whole section is fenced, and expensively laid out, and planted with every description of fruit tree and flowering shrub. No expense has been spared with respect to the furniture and bedding, it being of the best description, while some of the mirrors and engravings are not to be equalled in this country. The poultry consists of peacocks, guinea fowls, turkeys, ducks, and fowls. Large saw mills arc now erecting in the immediate neighbourhood, which will soon enhance its present value.
