THEATRE ROYAL.
There was a good attendance at this place of amusement last evening, and the whole performance from beginning to end was a most decided success. Mr Bent was immense in “Just before the battle mother,” as lie also was in the farce of the “Rival Servants” with Mr Collins. Mr Brown sung well, and was encored. Airs Collins and Miss Carroll also song better than usual. This is the last week of this troupe’s stay, and anyone that can enjoy “laughing gas” cannot possibly help liking these miscellaneous performances, although the female singing is rather mediocre, the dancing and fun leave ample margin for a good evening’s enjoyment. The whole concluded with the farce of the “ Intelligence Office,” and partly b rouglit down the house. A change of programme is announced for to-night.
