Small lines of plantation coffee have changed hands at DjtJ, with a tendency to advance, the being quite bare of supplies ou 19th ifebrua.y, and no shipments made to Australia during the month previous. Dried fruits are difficult to move ; currants offered at 4Jd, and inferior samples of raisins at nominal figures. The inquiry for fish is not quite so active ; sardines scarce, at 12s for halves, aud 7s for quarters. In liquors, we hear of sales of hulk ale at late rales; brandies firm at 25s Cd for Hennessy’s case, (is 9d to Os IOJd for Martoll’s dark in bulk. (Stiles of Queensland rum at 2s sd, and Lowndes’s 31 o.p. at 3s 8d to 3s fid, The advance iu metals promises to be sustained by holders, who ask from 20s to 40s rise on all descriptions of iron. Teas have been rendered inactive by two cargoes being placed ou the market together. Sugars are beii g quitted by piivate sale at better rates than have been realised at auction lately." Adelaide. —A telegram of the 20tli reports :—“A quarter of the cargo of sugar, per Ponnarou, from Madagascar, was offered this morning, but very little was sold. There was a small attendance. Large stiles of wheat were made this afternoon at 5s old.
