BUSINESS during the past mouth has not been by any means satisfactory. Trade requirements have been trivial, and traders have shown no desire to purchase beyond actual consumption. Our prices-current show little 'alteration ; the most marked has been in produce. Geneva is scarce and has been in frequent demand. Ale and porter, a few lines at quotat'ons have been placed. Candles dull of sale. Enquiries for white sugars. .Salt placed at quotation. Groceries only quoted for trade requirements.
