Siiotover. —A most important trial criislilias taken place from tin's company’s gronnrl. The manager crushed 4 tons from the lowest level, and got 29dwt. of gold. The stuff was not taken fiom any lode, but simply from the shaft as sunk. Full particulars will he found in our summary column. All Nations. —Mr Walker has taken charge of the mine, and continues working. The stopes are all manned, and yesterday about 401 b. of specimens were taken from No. 3 lode. The chamber at the bottom of the shaft on the main level is being opened out, and all is getting on satisfactorily. Coliban. —A crushing of 891 b. of specimens for this company turned out 102 oz. of gold, thus bringing the total return from the 100 tons up to 2320 z., or to the ton. Arrangements are, we understand, about to he made with the Windsor Castle Company by which the Coliban can enter through their main tunnel and work their ground at a splendid low level. Y anker Doodle. —Crushing for this company was started on Saturday last, and we are informed that the show is firstrate for a good return. Manukau Tribute.—A lodgment of 320 z. sdwt. 18gr. of melted gold was made yesterday, on behalf of the company’s tributors. Moan'ataiaui Union.—A crushing for this company has been completed, aud yielded 240 z. Bd\vt. Ggr. melted gold.
